A Huge Congratulations to our Sponsored Party Matthew Wrigglesworth

A huge congratulations to Matthew Wrigglesworth displaying his talent and dedication once again at Hull City Hall late last month.

The 26 year old earned his fifth career win and the English Challenge Middleweight belt with only 6 weeks preparation, showing that hard work and dedication really does pay off.

At Direct Traffic we are extremely proud to sponsor such a inspirational, devoted athlete and genuinely decent guy. During a mainline interview feature in the Hull Daily Mail the Young Bull said:

““I took a big risk taking this fight at just six weeks’ notice against someone who was the favourite in his own backyard. But without risk there is no reward and I’m hoping there’s a big reward from this,” said Wigglesworth. I’m in this business to win big titles and I want this to be my profession and to do that I need to climb the ladder. I feel like this win can help me do that because I’ve had great feedback and people are hopefully taking notice now.

Someone has got to give me a shot now because I showed what I can do with six weeks preparation while holding down a full-time job. Imagine if I had eight or 10 weeks to prepare and wasn’t having to work as a mechanic. This was my toughest fight yet and the best performance I’ve given but there’s lots to work on and I’m planning on showing what I’ve got when I box in Hull later this year.”

With tickets soon to be on sale for his upcoming fight at the KC Stadium in Hull; all the staff here at Direct Traffic will be wishing Matty and his team the best of luck and with hope a shot at the English title in the early part of 2019.

Once again a huge congratulations, we are proud to offer our continued support.
